بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi

(I) Begin with the Name of Allâh WHO is Most Loving and Most Merciful

وَإِذَا سَمِعُواْ مَا أُنزِلَ إِلَى الرَّسُولِ تَرَى أَعْيُنَهُمْ تَفِيضُ مِنَ الدَّمْعِ مِمَّا عَرَفُواْ مِنَ الْحَقِّ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ

83.            Waitha samiAAoo ma onzila ila alrrasooli tara aAAyunahum tafeedu mina alddamAAi mimma AAarafoo mina alhaqqi yaqooloona rabbana amanna faoktubna maAAa alshshahideena
When they listen to the revelation that has been revealed to the Rasool (Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), then you see that their eyes are filled with tears because the effect of the truth they have recognized.  They speak out: "Our Râbb, we brought Faith, write down our names among those who are the bearers of witness."

وَمَا لَنَا لاَ نُؤْمِنُ بِاللّهِ وَمَا جَاءنَا مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَنَطْمَعُ أَن يُدْخِلَنَا رَبَّنَا مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الصَّالِحِينَ

84.            Wama lana la numinu biAllahi wama jaana mina alhaqqi wanatmaAAu an yudkhilana rabbuna maAAa alqawmi alssaliheena
And they say: "After all -- why should we not bring Faith in Allâh and embrace the truth that has come to us when we wish for this that our Râbb count us with the pious people?" 

فَأَثَابَهُمُ اللّهُ بِمَا قَالُواْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَذَلِكَ جَزَاء الْمُحْسِنِينَ

85.            Faathabahumu Allahu bima qaloo jannatin tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha wathalika jazao almuhsineena
Because of their words Allâh has given them such Gardens underneath which canals are flowing and they will stay there forever. This is the reward for those who adopted the righteous path. 

وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَكَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا أُوْلَـئِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَحِيمِ

86.            Waallatheena kafaroo wakaththaboo biayatina olaika ashabu aljaheemi
As for those people who refused to accept OUR revelation (Ayât) and denied it, so they deserve Hell-Fire. (R) 1

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تُحَرِّمُواْ طَيِّبَاتِ مَا أَحَلَّ اللّهُ لَكُمْ وَلاَ تَعْتَدُواْ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِينَ

87.            Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tuharrimoo tayyibati ma ahalla Allahu lakum wala taAAtadoo inna Allaha la yuhibbu almuAAtadeena
O people, who have brought Faith, do not make those pure provisions (Taiyibât) unlawful which Allâh has made lawful for you and do not exceed the limits (boundaries) -- Allâh hates the transgressors. 

وَكُلُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللّهُ حَلاَلاً طَيِّبًا وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ الَّذِيَ أَنتُم بِهِ مُؤْمِنُونَ

88.            Wakuloo mimma razaqakumu Allahu halalan tayyiban waittaqoo Allaha allathee antum bihi muminoona
Whatever lawful (Halâl) and pure provisions (Taiyibât) Allâh has given you eat and drink those and refrain from disobeying Allâh in WHOM you have brought Faith. 

لاَ يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللّهُ بِاللَّغْوِ فِي أَيْمَانِكُمْ وَلَـكِن يُؤَاخِذُكُم بِمَا عَقَّدتُّمُ الأَيْمَانَ فَكَفَّارَتُهُ إِطْعَامُ عَشَرَةِ مَسَاكِينَ مِنْ أَوْسَطِ مَا تُطْعِمُونَ أَهْلِيكُمْ أَوْ كِسْوَتُهُمْ أَوْ تَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ فَمَن لَّمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ ذَلِكَ كَفَّارَةُ أَيْمَانِكُمْ إِذَا حَلَفْتُمْ وَاحْفَظُواْ أَيْمَانَكُمْ كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ

89.            La yuakhithukumu Allahu biallaghwi fee aymanikum walakin yuakhithukum bima AAaqqadtumu alaymana fakaffaratuhu itAAamu AAasharati masakeena min awsati ma tutAAimoona ahleekum aw kiswatuhum aw tahreeru raqabatin faman lam yajid fasiyamu thalathati ayyamin thalika kaffaratu aymanikum itha halaftum waihfathoo aymanakum kathalika yubayyinu Allahu lakum ayatihi laAAallakum tashkuroona
Allâh does not hold you accountable for the unintentional oaths you swear upon, but HE surely will hold you responsible/accountable for those oaths you swear upon knowingly.  The repentance (of breaking such oaths) is to feed ten poor people (Masâkîn) that average food, which you feed to your own children, or clothe them or free one slave and whoever cannot afford this he/she should fast for three days.  This is the compensation for your oaths when you break them after swearing.  Guard your promises.  This way Allâh makes HIS Commands (Ayât) clear for you so that you may become thankful.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ إِنَّمَا الْخَمْرُ وَالْمَيْسِرُ وَالأَنصَابُ وَالأَزْلاَمُ رِجْسٌ مِّنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ فَاجْتَنِبُوهُ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ

90.            Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo innama alkhamru waalmaysiru waalansabu waalazlamu rijsun min AAamali alshshaytani faijtaniboohu laAAallakum tuflihoona
O people, who have brought Faith, the intoxicants (as alcoholic liquor, wine and all kinds of intoxicating drugs) and gambling and the shrines (Al­Ansâb) and divining devices (use of an arrow to know your luck) (Al­Azlâm), these all are dirty evil deeds (deeds of Satan), abstain from these, it is hoped that you will be successful.

إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَن يُوقِعَ بَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاء فِي الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْسِرِ وَيَصُدَّكُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ اللّهِ وَعَنِ الصَّلاَةِ فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّنتَهُونَ

91.            Innama yureedu alshshaytanu an yooqiAAa baynakumu alAAadawata waalbaghdaa fee alkhamri waalmaysiri wayasuddakum AAan thikri Allahi waAAani alssalati fahal antum muntahoona
Satan wants to create an enmity and hatred among you with intoxicants (wines, alcoholic drinks) and gambling and stop you from the remembrance of Allâh and prayer (As-Salât).  Then would you stop from these things? 

وَأَطِيعُواْ اللّهَ وَأَطِيعُواْ الرَّسُولَ وَاحْذَرُواْ فَإِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّمَا عَلَى رَسُولِنَا الْبَلاَغُ الْمُبِينُ

92.            WaateeAAoo Allaha waateeAAoo alrrasoola waihtharoo fain tawallaytum faiAAlamoo annama AAala rasoolina albalaghu almubeenu
Obey Allâh and HIS Rasool (Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and abstain (from these things), but if you disobeyed then you must know that the responsibility of OUR Rasool (Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) was only to clearly convey (OUR) order.

لَيْسَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّالِحَاتِ جُنَاحٌ فِيمَا طَعِمُواْ إِذَا مَا اتَّقَواْ وَّآمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّالِحَاتِ ثُمَّ اتَّقَواْ وَّآمَنُواْ ثُمَّ اتَّقَواْ وَّأَحْسَنُواْ وَاللّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ

93.            Laysa AAala allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati junahun feema taAAimoo itha ma ittaqaw waamanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati thumma ittaqaw waamanoo thumma ittaqaw waahsanoo waAllahu yuhibbu almuhsineena
Those people who brought Faith and started doing good deeds, whatever they had drunk and eaten before there will be no accountability on that provided in future they abstain from those things which are declared unlawful (Harâm) and remain steadfast in their Faith and do good deeds, then from whichever thing they are asked to abstain they should abstain and obey the orders of Allâh then behave righteously with fear of Allâh.  Allâh likes the people with good conduct. (R) 2

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لَيَبْلُوَنَّكُمُ اللّهُ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنَ الصَّيْدِ تَنَالُهُ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَرِمَاحُكُمْ لِيَعْلَمَ اللّهُ مَن يَخَافُهُ بِالْغَيْبِ فَمَنِ اعْتَدَى بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَلَهُ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

94.            Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo layabluwannakumu Allahu bishayin mina alssaydi tanaluhu aydeekum warimahukum liyaAAlama Allahu man yakhafuhu bialghaybi famani iAAtada baAAda thalika falahu AAathabun aleemun
O people who have brought Faith, Allâh will put you under hard test through hunt which will be well within reach of your hands and your arrow, to see who among you fears from HIM without seeing HIM, then whoever crosses the limits set by Allâh after this warning there is painful punishment for him/her. 

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَقْتُلُواْ الصَّيْدَ وَأَنتُمْ حُرُمٌ وَمَن قَتَلَهُ مِنكُم مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاء مِّثْلُ مَا قَتَلَ مِنَ النَّعَمِ يَحْكُمُ بِهِ ذَوَا عَدْلٍ مِّنكُمْ هَدْيًا بَالِغَ الْكَعْبَةِ أَوْ كَفَّارَةٌ طَعَامُ مَسَاكِينَ أَو عَدْلُ ذَلِكَ صِيَامًا لِّيَذُوقَ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِ عَفَا اللّهُ عَمَّا سَلَف وَمَنْ عَادَ فَيَنتَقِمُ اللّهُ مِنْهُ وَاللّهُ عَزِيزٌ ذُو انْتِقَامٍ

95.            Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la taqtuloo alssayda waantum hurumun waman qatalahu minkum mutaAAammidan fajazaon mithlu ma qatala mina alnnaAAami yahkumu bihi thawa AAadlin minkum hadyan baligha alkaAAbati aw kaffaratun taAAamu masakeena aw AAadlu thalika siyaman liyathooqa wabala amrihi AAafa Allahu AAamma salafa waman AAada fayantaqimu Allahu minhu waAllahu AAazeezun thoo intiqamin
O people who have brought Faith, do not hunt when you are in Ihrâm (special clothes for Hajj, Umrah -- pilgrimage), and if anyone among you have done it intentionally, then the animal he/she has killed equal to that he/she should have to offer an animal from the cattle (as a penalty), which will be decided by two just men among you, and this offering will be brought to the Ka'bah, or otherwise for compensation of this sin he/she will have to feed a few poor people (Masâkîn), or will have to fast its equivalent, so that he/she should taste for what he/she has done. Whatever happened before Allâh has forgiven it, but now if anyone repeats this act then Allâh will take retribution from him/her; Allâh is Prevailing over everyone and has the Power of Retribution. 

أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ صَيْدُ الْبَحْرِ وَطَعَامُهُ مَتَاعًا لَّكُمْ وَلِلسَّيَّارَةِ وَحُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ صَيْدُ الْبَرِّ مَا دُمْتُمْ حُرُمًا وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ الَّذِيَ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ

96.            Ohilla lakum saydu albahri wataAAamuhu mataAAan lakum walilssayyarati wahurrima AAalaykum saydu albarri ma dumtum huruman waittaqoo Allaha allathee ilayhi tuhsharoona
It has been made lawful for you to hunt from the sea and eat it; wherever you stay -- you can eat it there and also take it as provisions of the caravan.  Although hunting on the land has been made unlawful for you until you are in Ihrâm.  So save yourself from the disobedience of Allâh before WHOM you all shall be brought together.

جَعَلَ اللّهُ الْكَعْبَةَ الْبَيْتَ الْحَرَامَ قِيَامًا لِّلنَّاسِ وَالشَّهْرَ الْحَرَامَ وَالْهَدْيَ وَالْقَلاَئِدَ ذَلِكَ لِتَعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ وَأَنَّ اللّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

97.            JaAAala Allahu alkaAAbata albayta alharama qiyaman lilnnasi waalshshahra alharama waalhadya waalqalaida thalika litaAAlamoo anna Allaha yaAAlamu ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi waanna Allaha bikulli shayin AAaleemun
Allâh has made the Sacred House -- Ka'bah a means of stabilizing (for community life) of the people and the Sacred Month and the animals of sacrifice and also (animals) which are collared as mark of dedication (made helper in this task) so that you should know that Allâh is Well Aware of all the matters of the skies and the earth and HE has the Knowledge of everything.

اعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ وَأَنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

98.            IAAlamoo anna Allaha shadeedu alAAiqabi waanna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun
Be aware of it! That Allâh is also severe in punishment and as well as is Forgiving and Most Merciful.

مَّا عَلَى الرَّسُولِ إِلاَّ الْبَلاَغُ وَاللّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُبْدُونَ وَمَا تَكْتُمُونَ

99.            Ma AAala alrrasooli illa albalaghu waAllahu yaAAlamu ma tubdoona wama taktumoona
The responsibility on Rasool is only to convey the Message, and Allâh is the Knower of all your open and hidden matters. 

قُل لاَّ يَسْتَوِي الْخَبِيثُ وَالطَّيِّبُ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكَ كَثْرَةُ الْخَبِيثِ فَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ يَا أُوْلِي الأَلْبَابِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ

100.         Qul la yastawee alkhabeethu waalttayyibu walaw aAAjabaka kathratu alkhabeethi faittaqoo Allaha ya olee alalbabi laAAallakum tuflihoona
O Messenger (Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), tell them that good (At-­Taiyib) and bad (Al-­Khabîth) are not equal even though the abundance of bad (Al-Khabîth) may fascinate you much, therefore O people who have sense (wisdom), keep abstaining from the disobedience of Allâh, it is hoped that you will benefit. (R) 3

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَسْأَلُواْ عَنْ أَشْيَاء إِن تُبْدَ لَكُمْ تَسُؤْكُمْ وَإِن تَسْأَلُواْ عَنْهَا حِينَ يُنَزَّلُ الْقُرْآنُ تُبْدَ لَكُمْ عَفَا اللّهُ عَنْهَا وَاللّهُ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ

101.         Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tasaloo AAan ashyaa in tubda lakum tasukum wain tasaloo AAanha heena yunazzalu alquranu tubda lakum AAafa Allahu AAanha waAllahu ghafoorun haleemun
O people, who have brought Faith, do not ask about such things (if) those are manifested to you then those may offend you, but if you will ask about these at such time while Al-Qur'ân is being revealed then those will be disclosed to you.  Whatever you have done so far Allâh has forgiven that -- Allâh is Forgiving and Forbearing. 

قَدْ سَأَلَهَا قَوْمٌ مِّن قَبْلِكُمْ ثُمَّ أَصْبَحُواْ بِهَا كَافِرِينَ

102.         Qad saalaha qawmun min qablikum thumma asbahoo biha kafireena
Before you a group of people had asked the same types of questions, then those people involved in infidelity (Kufr) because of such things.

مَا جَعَلَ اللّهُ مِن بَحِيرَةٍ وَلاَ سَآئِبَةٍ وَلاَ وَصِيلَةٍ وَلاَ حَامٍ وَلَـكِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ الْكَذِبَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ لاَ يَعْقِلُونَ

103.         Ma jaAAala Allahu min baheeratin wala saibatin wala waseelatin wala hamin walakinna allatheena kafaroo yaftaroona AAala Allahi alkathiba waaktharuhum la yaAAqiloona
Allâh has not appointed any Bahîrah (if female camel who has given birth five times and the last one is male camel, then she is set free, etc.) or a Sâ'ibah (male/female camel is being set free in the name of their gods after the completion of humble supplication), or a Wasîlah (if a female goat has given birth to twins male and female goat then male goat will be set free for idols, etc.) or a Hâm (if the grand child of camel become able for riding then the old camel is being set free, etc.). But these infidels falsely accused Allâh and most of them are illiterates (that they are accepting such accusations).  

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْاْ إِلَى مَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ وَإِلَى الرَّسُولِ قَالُواْ حَسْبُنَا مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءنَا أَوَلَوْ كَانَ آبَاؤُهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا وَلاَ يَهْتَدُونَ

104.        Waitha qeela lahum taAAalaw ila ma anzala Allahu waila alrrasooli qaloo hasbuna ma wajadna AAalayhi abaana awa law kana abaohum la yaAAlamoona shayan wala yahtadoona
And when it is said to them that come to the Law that Allâh has revealed and come towards the Messenger (Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) then they replied, for us only that way is sufficient on which we found our forefathers.  What! Will they keep on following the path of their forefathers even though they do not know anything and they do not know about the right path?

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنفُسَكُمْ لاَ يَضُرُّكُم مَّن ضَلَّ إِذَا اهْتَدَيْتُمْ إِلَى اللّهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

105.        Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo AAalaykum anfusakum la yadurrukum man dalla itha ihtadaytum ila Allahi marjiAAukum jameeAAan fayunabbiokum bima kuntum taAAmaloona
O people, who have brought Faith worry about yourselves, if anyone goes astray it will not harm you provided you are on the righteous and straight path, you all have to return to Allâh then HE will tell you what you have been doing.

يِا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ شَهَادَةُ بَيْنِكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ حِينَ الْوَصِيَّةِ اثْنَانِ ذَوَا عَدْلٍ مِّنكُمْ أَوْ آخَرَانِ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ إِنْ أَنتُمْ ضَرَبْتُمْ فِي الأَرْضِ فَأَصَابَتْكُم مُّصِيبَةُ الْمَوْتِ تَحْبِسُونَهُمَا مِن بَعْدِ الصَّلاَةِ فَيُقْسِمَانِ بِاللّهِ إِنِ ارْتَبْتُمْ لاَ نَشْتَرِي بِهِ ثَمَنًا وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَى وَلاَ نَكْتُمُ شَهَادَةَ اللّهِ إِنَّا إِذًا لَّمِنَ الآثِمِينَ

106.        Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo shahadatu baynikum itha hadara ahadakumu almawtu heena alwasiyyati ithnani thawa AAadlin minkum aw akharani min ghayrikum in antum darabtum fee alardi faasabatkum museebatu almawti tahbisoonahuma min baAAdi alssalati fayuqsimani biAllahi ini irtabtum la nashtaree bihi thamanan walaw kana tha qurba wala naktumu shahadata Allahi inna ithan lamina alathimeena
O people, who have brought Faith, when time of death of anyone of you approaches and he/she is making statement “will” then the principle of evidence is that two honest men should be taken as witnesses from among your own group, or if you are on a journey and there the calamity of death comes then take two witnesses from other people (non-Muslims).  Then if any doubt arises then detain both of the witnesses after the prayer (in the Masjid) and they swear by Allâh and say: "We are not the seller of testimony for any personal gain, and even if someone is our close relative (we will not do any favoritism to him/her), and neither we are going to hide the testimony (which we are giving) for the sake of Allâh -- if we do so then we will be among the sinful people." 

فَإِنْ عُثِرَ عَلَى أَنَّهُمَا اسْتَحَقَّا إِثْمًا فَآخَرَانِ يِقُومَانُ مَقَامَهُمَا مِنَ الَّذِينَ اسْتَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الأَوْلَيَانِ فَيُقْسِمَانِ بِاللّهِ لَشَهَادَتُنَا أَحَقُّ مِن شَهَادَتِهِمَا وَمَا اعْتَدَيْنَا إِنَّا إِذًا لَّمِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ

107.        Fain AAuthira AAala annahuma istahaqqa ithman faakharani yaqoomani maqamahuma mina allatheena istahaqqa AAalayhimu alawlayani fayuqsimani biAllahi lashahadatuna ahaqqu min shahadatihima wama iAAtadayna inna ithan lamina alththalimeena
But if you come to know that both of them have involved themselves in the sin then in their place two other men who are more capable of witness as compare to them should stand from among those people who are deprived from their right, and they swear by Allâh and say: "Our testimony is more truthful than their testimony and we have not done any addition in our testimony, if we do so then we will be among the wrong doers." 

ذَلِكَ أَدْنَى أَن يَأْتُواْ بِالشَّهَادَةِ عَلَى وَجْهِهَا أَوْ يَخَافُواْ أَن تُرَدَّ أَيْمَانٌ بَعْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ وَاتَّقُوا اللّهَ وَاسْمَعُواْ وَاللّهُ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ

108.         Thalika adna an yatoo bialshshahadati AAala wajhiha aw yakhafoo an turadda aymanun baAAda aymanihim waittaqoo Allaha waismaAAoo waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alfasiqeena
In this way it is expected that people will testify truthfully, or at least (they) will fear from this thing that after their oaths they may not be contradicted by other oaths.  Fear Allâh and listen, Allâh deprives those from HIS Guidance who are disobedient (Al-Fâsiqûn). (R) 4 

يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُ اللّهُ الرُّسُلَ فَيَقُولُ مَاذَا أُجِبْتُمْ قَالُواْ لاَ عِلْمَ لَنَا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ عَلاَّمُ الْغُيُوبِ

109.         Yawma yajmaAAu Allahu alrrusula fayaqoolu matha ojibtum qaloo la AAilma lana innaka anta AAallamu alghuyoobi
The Day when Allâh will gather together all Rasools and ask them what response was given to you, then they will reply that we do not have any knowledge, YOU Alone know all the hidden facts (things). 

إِذْ قَالَ اللّهُ يَا عِيسى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ اذْكُرْ نِعْمَتِي عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى وَالِدَتِكَ إِذْ أَيَّدتُّكَ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ تُكَلِّمُ النَّاسَ فِي الْمَهْدِ وَكَهْلاً وَإِذْ عَلَّمْتُكَ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَالتَّوْرَاةَ وَالإِنجِيلَ وَإِذْ تَخْلُقُ مِنَ الطِّينِ كَهَيْئَةِ الطَّيْرِ بِإِذْنِي فَتَنفُخُ فِيهَا فَتَكُونُ طَيْرًا بِإِذْنِي وَتُبْرِىءُ الأَكْمَهَ وَالأَبْرَصَ بِإِذْنِي وَإِذْ تُخْرِجُ الْمَوتَى بِإِذْنِي وَإِذْ كَفَفْتُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنكَ إِذْ جِئْتَهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنْهُمْ إِنْ هَـذَا إِلاَّ سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ

110.         Ith qala Allahu ya AAeesa ibna maryama othkur niAAmatee AAalayka waAAala walidatika ith ayyadtuka biroohi alqudusi tukallimu alnnasa fee almahdi wakahlan waith AAallamtuka alkitaba waalhikmata waalttawrata waalinjeela waith takhluqu mina altteeni kahayati alttayri biithnee fatanfukhu feeha fatakoonu tayran biithnee watubrio alakmaha waalabrasa biithnee waith tukhriju almawta biithnee waith kafaftu banee israeela AAanka ith jitahum bialbayyinati faqala allatheena kafaroo minhum in hatha illa sihrun mubeenun
Then think about that time when Allâh will say. "O son of Maryam 'Iesa, remember MY that Favor which I had bestowed on you and your mother, I helped you with Holy Spirit (Rûh-­ul-­Qudus), you used to talk to the people in the cradle and also reaching to an old age, I taught you the Book and Wisdom (Al-­Hikmah) and the Taurât and the Injeel, you by MY Command used to make the statue like bird from the clay and used to breathe into it and by MY Command it used to become a bird, you used to heal the born blinds and the lepers by MY Order, you used to bring out the dead by MY Order. Then when you reached to the Children of Israel with clear proofs and those people among them who were deniers of truth they said that these signs are nothing except the magic then I saved you from them 

وَإِذْ أَوْحَيْتُ إِلَى الْحَوَارِيِّينَ أَنْ آمِنُواْ بِي وَبِرَسُولِي قَالُوَاْ آمَنَّا وَاشْهَدْ بِأَنَّنَا مُسْلِمُونَ

111.         Waith awhaytu ila alhawariyyeena an aminoo bee wabirasoolee qaloo amanna waishhad biannana muslimoona
And when I pointed to the Disciples (Al-Hawârîeen) that bring Faith in ME and MY Rasool, then they said: "We brought Faith and bear witness that we are Muslims" -

إِذْ قَالَ الْحَوَارِيُّونَ يَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ هَلْ يَسْتَطِيعُ رَبُّكَ أَن يُنَزِّلَ عَلَيْنَا مَآئِدَةً مِّنَ السَّمَاء قَالَ اتَّقُواْ اللّهَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

112.         Ith qala alhawariyyoona ya AAeesa ibna maryama hal yastateeAAu rabbuka an yunazzila AAalayna maidatan mina alssamai qala ittaqoo Allaha in kuntum mumineena
(About the Disciples) Remember the incident as well that when the Disciples (Al-Hawâriûn) said: "O 'Iesa son of Maryam -- can your Râbb send down to us a tray of food from heaven?"  Then 'Iesa said, Fear Allâh if you are believers. 

قَالُواْ نُرِيدُ أَن نَّأْكُلَ مِنْهَا وَتَطْمَئِنَّ قُلُوبُنَا وَنَعْلَمَ أَن قَدْ صَدَقْتَنَا وَنَكُونَ عَلَيْهَا مِنَ الشَّاهِدِينَ

113.         Qaloo nureedu an nakula minha watatmainna quloobuna wanaAAlama an qad sadaqtana wanakoona AAalayha mina alshshahideena
They replied: "We only want to eat food from that tray and satisfy our hearts and we will come to know that whatever you have told us is truth and we are witnesses to it"

قَالَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا أَنزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مَآئِدَةً مِّنَ السَّمَاء تَكُونُ لَنَا عِيداً لِّأَوَّلِنَا وَآخِرِنَا وَآيَةً مِّنكَ وَارْزُقْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ

114.         Qala AAeesa ibnu maryama allahumma rabbana anzil AAalayna maidatan mina alssamai takoonu lana AAeedan liawwalina waakhirina waayatan minka waorzuqna waanta khayru alrraziqeena
On this 'Iesa son of Maryam prayed: "Allâh our Râbb, send down to us a tray of food from heaven, which becomes an occasion of pleasure for us and for the first and the last of us and as a Sign from YOU, provide us the provisions and YOU are the Best Provider." 

قَالَ اللّهُ إِنِّي مُنَزِّلُهَا عَلَيْكُمْ فَمَن يَكْفُرْ بَعْدُ مِنكُمْ فَإِنِّي أُعَذِّبُهُ عَذَابًا لاَّ أُعَذِّبُهُ أَحَدًا مِّنَ الْعَالَمِينَ

115.        Qala Allahu innee munazziluha AAalaykum faman yakfur baAAdu minkum fainnee oAAaththibuhu AAathaban la oAAaththibuhu ahadan mina alAAalameena
Allâh Responded: "I AM going to send it down to you, but after this whoever among you will commit infidelity (Kufr) then I will give him/her such punishment which I would have not given to anyone else -  (R) 5 

وَإِذْ قَالَ اللّهُ يَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ أَأَنتَ قُلتَ لِلنَّاسِ اتَّخِذُونِي وَأُمِّيَ إِلَـهَيْنِ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ مَا يَكُونُ لِي أَنْ أَقُولَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِحَقٍّ إِن كُنتُ قُلْتُهُ فَقَدْ عَلِمْتَهُ تَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِي وَلاَ أَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِكَ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ عَلاَّمُ الْغُيُوبِ

116.        Waith qala Allahu ya AAeesa ibna maryama aanta qulta lilnnasi ittakhithoonee waommiya ilahayni min dooni Allahi qala subhanaka ma yakoonu lee an aqoola ma laysa lee bihaqqin in kuntu qultuhu faqad AAalimtahu taAAlamu ma fee nafsee wala aAAlamu ma fee nafsika innaka anta AAallamu alghuyoobi
In short (after reminding these favors) when Allâh will ask: "O 'Iesa son of Maryam, had you said to the people that take me and my mother as your God except Allâh?”  Then he will reply: "Glory to YOU, it was not my mission that I say what I had no right to say, if I had said such a thing, YOU would surely have known it, YOU know what is in my heart and I do not know what is in YOUR Heart, YOU have full Knowledge of all the hidden things. 

مَا قُلْتُ لَهُمْ إِلاَّ مَا أَمَرْتَنِي بِهِ أَنِ اعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبَّكُمْ وَكُنتُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا مَّا دُمْتُ فِيهِمْ فَلَمَّا تَوَفَّيْتَنِي كُنتَ أَنتَ الرَّقِيبَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَنتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ

117.        Ma qultu lahum illa ma amartanee bihi ani oAAbudoo Allaha rabbee warabbakum wakuntu AAalayhim shaheedan ma dumtu feehim falamma tawaffaytanee kunta anta alrraqeeba AAalayhim waanta AAala kulli shayin shaheedun
I did not say anything else to them except what YOU had commanded me, that Worship Allâh WHO is my Râbb as well as your Râbb.  I was their watcher till the time I remained among them.  But when YOU called me back then YOU were watcher over them and YOU are watcher of everything. 

إِن تُعَذِّبْهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ عِبَادُكَ وَإِن تَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ فَإِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ

118.        In tuAAaththibhum fainnahum AAibaduka wain taghfir lahum fainnaka anta alAAazeezu alhakeemu
Now if YOU punish them then they are YOUR servants and if YOU forgive them YOU are All Powerful and All Wise." 

قَالَ اللّهُ هَذَا يَوْمُ يَنفَعُ الصَّادِقِينَ صِدْقُهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا رَّضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُواْ عَنْهُ ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ

119.          Qala Allahu hatha yawmu yanfaAAu alssadiqeena sidquhum lahum jannatun tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha abadan radiya Allahu AAanhum waradoo AAanhu thalika alfawzu alAAatheemu
Then Allâh will say: "This is the Day when truthfulness of the truthful will benefit them, there are such Gardens for them underneath which canals are flowing, there they shall live forever, Allâh is Pleased with them and they are with Allâh this is the great success". 

لِلّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَا فِيهِنَّ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

120.          Lillahi mulku alssamawati waalardi wama feehinna wahuwa AAala   kulli shayin qadeerun
The kingdom of the earth and the skies and the entire creature is for Allâh Alone and HE has Power over everything. (R) 6

“Al-An'âm –Livestock/The Cattle” -(Makki - 6th Surah)

Total Verses: 165

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi
(I) Begin with the Name of Allâh WHO is Most Loving and Most Merciful

الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ الظُّلُمَاتِ وَالنُّورَ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِرَبِّهِم يَعْدِلُونَ

1.                Alhamdu lillahi allathee khalaqa alssamawati waalarda wajaAAala alththulumati waalnnoora thumma allatheena kafaroo birabbihim yaAAdiloona
Praise is for Allâh WHO has made earth and skies, created darkness and light.  Even then those people who refused to accept the message of truth are associating others as partners with their Râbb.

هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن طِينٍ ثُمَّ قَضَى أَجَلاً وَأَجَلٌ مُّسمًّى عِندَهُ ثُمَّ أَنتُمْ تَمْتَرُونَ

2.                Huwa allathee khalaqakum min teenin thumma qada ajalan waajalun musamman AAindahu thumma antum tamtaroona
HE is the ONE WHO has created you from the clay, then predetermined the span (period) of life for you, and there is another period as well which is predetermine with HIM. But you are the ones who are in doubt.  

وَهُوَ اللّهُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَفِي الأَرْضِ يَعْلَمُ سِرَّكُمْ وَجَهرَكُمْ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْسِبُونَ

3.               Wahuwa Allahu fee alssamawati wafee alardi yaAAlamu sirrakum wajahrakum wayaAAlamu ma taksiboona
HE is the Only Allâh WHO is in the skies as well as on the earth, HE Knows all about your open and hidden affairs, and the good or the bad you earn HE knows it very well.  

وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ آيَةٍ مِّنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلاَّ كَانُواْ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ

4.               Wama tateehim min ayatin min ayati rabbihim illa kanoo AAanha muAArideena
There is no such Sign (Ayât) from the Signs (Ayât) of their Râbb that has come to these people and they have not turned away their faces from it -- this is the condition of the people.  

فَقَدْ كَذَّبُواْ بِالْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِيهِمْ أَنبَاء مَا كَانُواْ بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُونَ

5.                Faqad kaththaboo bialhaqqi lamma jaahum fasawfa yateehim anbao ma kanoo bihi yastahzioona
So now the truth, which has come to them then they also denied it.  Well, soon they will receive some news about what they have been ridiculing so far.  

أَلَمْ يَرَوْاْ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن قَرْنٍ مَّكَّنَّاهُمْ فِي الأَرْضِ مَا لَمْ نُمَكِّن لَّكُمْ وَأَرْسَلْنَا السَّمَاء عَلَيْهِم مِّدْرَارًا وَجَعَلْنَا الأَنْهَارَ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَأَنْشَأْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنًا آخَرِينَ

6.                Alam yaraw kam ahlakna min qablihim min qarnin makkannahum fee alardi ma lam numakkin lakum waarsalna alssamaa AAalayhim midraran wajaAAalna alanhara tajree min tahtihim faahlaknahum bithunoobihim waanshana min baAAdihim qarnan akhareena
Have they not seen that how many such nations WE have destroyed before them who had supremacy in their own times?  WE had given them such power in the earth which WE have not given you, on them WE sent down overflowing rains from the sky and made canals to flow underneath them, (but when they denied OUR Blessings) then eventually WE destroyed them because of their sins and at their places raised nations of other periods.

وَلَوْ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ كِتَابًا فِي قِرْطَاسٍ فَلَمَسُوهُ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ لَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ إِنْ هَـذَا إِلاَّ سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ

7.               Walaw nazzalna AAalayka kitaban fee qirtasin falamasoohu biaydeehim laqala allatheena kafaroo in hatha illa sihrun mubeenun
O Messenger (Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) if WE had sent down to you a Book written on the paper and people could have seen it by touching it with their own hands -- even then whoever have denied the truth they would have said -- that it is an obvious magic.  

وَقَالُواْ لَوْلا أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ مَلَكٌ وَلَوْ أَنزَلْنَا مَلَكًا لَّقُضِيَ الأمْرُ ثُمَّ لاَ يُنظَرُونَ

8.               Waqaloo lawla onzila AAalayhi malakun walaw anzalna malakan laqudiya alamru thumma la yuntharoona
They say that why an angel has not been sent down to this Prophet (Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)?  If ever WE had sent down an angel then by this time the decision have been made, then no respite (delay) would have been given to them.  

وَلَوْ جَعَلْنَاهُ مَلَكًا لَّجَعَلْنَاهُ رَجُلاً وَلَلَبَسْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّا يَلْبِسُونَ

9.                Walaw jaAAalnahu malakan lajaAAalnahu rajulan walalabasna AAalayhim ma yalbisoona
And if WE had sent down an angel, even then WE would have sent him as a human (in a human form) and in the same way WE have put them into that doubt in which they are involved now.

وَلَقَدِ اسْتُهْزِىءَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِالَّذِينَ سَخِرُواْ مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُونَ

10.            Walaqadi istuhzia birusulin min qablika fahaqa biallatheena sakhiroo minhum ma kanoo bihi yastahzioona
O Prophet (Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), many Rasools have been ridiculed before you but eventually the same fact that they had been ridiculing succeeded over those who ridiculed. (R) 7

قُلْ سِيرُواْ فِي الأَرْضِ ثُمَّ انظُرُواْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ

11.            Qul seeroo fee alardi thumma onthuroo kayfa kana AAaqibatu almukaththibeena
Tell them, just travel through the land and see what was the end-result of those who denied the truth."  

قُل لِّمَن مَّا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ قُل لِلّهِ كَتَبَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ الرَّحْمَةَ لَيَجْمَعَنَّكُمْ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ لاَ رَيْبَ فِيهِ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَهُمْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ

12.            Qul liman ma fee alssamawati waalardi qul lillahi kataba AAala nafsihi alrrahmata layajmaAAannakum ila yawmi alqiyamati la rayba feehi allatheena khasiroo anfusahum fahum la yuminoona
Ask them, whatever is in the skies and in the earth to whom it belongs?--Say all that belongs to Allâh Alone, HE has made compulsory the way of Mercy and Generosity for HIMSELF (this is why HE does not immediately catches you on your disobedience and rebellion), HE will surely gather all of you together on the Day of Judgment, this is a fact in which there is no doubt, but those people who have involved themselves in the danger of destruction they do not believe in it.  

وَلَهُ مَا سَكَنَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

13.            Walahu ma sakana fee allayli waalnnahari wahuwa alssameeAAu alAAaleemu
Whatever exists in the darkness of night and the brightness of day, all that belongs to Allâh and HE Hears and Knows everything.  

قُلْ أَغَيْرَ اللّهِ أَتَّخِذُ وَلِيًّا فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَهُوَ يُطْعِمُ وَلاَ يُطْعَمُ قُلْ إِنِّيَ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ وَلاَ تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكَينَ

14.            Qul aghayra Allahi attakhithu waliyyan fatiri alssamawati waalardi wahuwa yutAAimu wala yutAAamu qul innee omirtu an akoona awwala man aslama wala takoonanna mina almushrikeena
Ask: "Should I take someone else as my protector (Walî) except Allâh? Instead of that Allâh WHO is the Creator of the earth and the skies and WHO gives daily provisions (food, etc.) does not take allowance? Say, I have been commanded that first of all I should submit to HIM (and have been enjoined that if someone commits shirk he/she may does it) you should not be of the idolaters (Mushrikûn).  

قُلْ إِنِّيَ أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ

15.            Qul innee akhafu in AAasaytu rabbee AAathaba yawmin AAatheemin
Say, if I disobey my Râbb I am scared that I shall have to suffer torment on the Mighty (frightful) Day.

مَّن يُصْرَفْ عَنْهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمَهُ وَذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْمُبِينُ

16.            Man yusraf AAanhu yawmaithin faqad rahimahu wathalika alfawzu almubeenu
Whoever is saved from torment on that Day, Allâh has done great Mercy to him/her and this is the obvious success.  

وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ اللّهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلاَ كَاشِفَ لَهُ إِلاَّ هُوَ وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدُيرٌ

17.            Wain yamsaska Allahu bidurrin fala kashifa lahu illa huwa wain yamsaska bikhayrin fahuwa AAala kulli shayin qadeerun
If Allâh causes you any kind of harm then except HIM there is no one who could save you from the harm, and if HE benefits you with something good then HE has Power over everything.  

وَهُوَ الْقَاهِرُ فَوْقَ عِبَادِهِ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ

18.            Wahuwa alqahiru fawqa AAibadihi wahuwa alhakeemu alkhabeeru
HE has supreme authority over HIS servants and All Wise and Well Aware. 

قُلْ أَيُّ شَيْءٍ أَكْبَرُ شَهَادةً قُلِ اللّهِ شَهِيدٌ بِيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ وَأُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ هَذَا الْقُرْآنُ لأُنذِرَكُم بِهِ وَمَن بَلَغَ أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَشْهَدُونَ أَنَّ مَعَ اللّهِ آلِهَةً أُخْرَى قُل لاَّ أَشْهَدُ قُلْ إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَـهٌ وَاحِدٌ وَإِنَّنِي بَرِيءٌ مِّمَّا تُشْرِكُونَ

19.            Qul ayyu shayin akbaru shahadatan quli Allahu shaheedun baynee wabaynakum waoohiya ilayya hatha alquranu lionthirakum bihi waman balagha ainnakum latashhadoona anna maAAa Allahi alihatan okhra qul la ashhadu qul innama huwa ilahun wahidun wainnanee bareeon mimma tushrikoona
Ask them, whose testimony is most reliable?--Say Allâh is Witness between you and me, and this Al-Qur'ân has been sent to me through revelation -- so that I warn you and whomever it may reaches. Can you really bear witness that there are other alihâ (gods) except Allâh?  Say, "I can never bear witness for it."   Say, HE is the only ONE Ilâh (Allâh, subhaana wa ta’aala) and I am absolutely displeased from that shirk in which you are involved.  

الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يَعْرِفُونَهُ كَمَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَبْنَاءهُمُ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَهُمْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ

20.             Allatheena ataynahumu alkitaba yaAArifoonahu kama yaAArifoona abnaahum allatheena khasiroo anfusahum fahum la yuminoona
Those people to whom WE have given the Scripture they recognize this thing (Al-Qur’ân) without any doubt as they do not have any doubt recognizing their own sons. But those who have put themselves in loss they do not accept it. (R) 8

وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِآيَاتِهِ إِنَّهُ لاَ يُفْلِحُ الظَّالِمُونَ

21.             Waman athlamu mimmani iftara AAala Allahi kathiban aw kaththaba biayatihi innahu la yuflihu alththalimoona
And who else could be crueler than the one who originates a lie against Allâh or denies the Signs (Ayât) of Allâh?  Surely such cruel (Zâlimûn) can never be successful.  

وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ نَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ أَيْنَ شُرَكَآؤُكُمُ الَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ

22.             Wayawma nahshuruhum jameeAAan thumma naqoolu lillatheena ashrakoo ayna shurakaokumu allatheena kuntum tazAAumoona
The Day when WE shall gather them all together and shall ask the idolaters (Mushrikin) that now where are the (your) taken partners whom you considered your deities

ثُمَّ لَمْ تَكُن فِتْنَتُهُمْ إِلاَّ أَن قَالُواْ وَاللّهِ رَبِّنَا مَا كُنَّا مُشْرِكِينَ

23.            Thumma lam takun fitnatuhum illa an qaloo waAllahi rabbina ma kunna mushrikeena
Then except this they will not be able to create any other mischief (Fitnah) that (they make this false statement) O our Master, By YOU we were not idolaters (mushrik).  

انظُرْ كَيْفَ كَذَبُواْ عَلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ

24.            Onthur kayfa kathaboo AAala anfusihim wadalla AAanhum ma kanoo yaftaroona
Look! At that time how they will originate lie against themselves, and then their all-false deities will disappear.  

وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُ إِلَيْكَ وَجَعَلْنَا عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفْقَهُوهُ وَفِي آذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًا وَإِن يَرَوْاْ كُلَّ آيَةٍ لاَّ يُؤْمِنُواْ بِهَا حَتَّى إِذَا جَآؤُوكَ يُجَادِلُونَكَ يَقُولُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ إِنْ هَذَآ إِلاَّ أَسَاطِيرُ الأَوَّلِينَ

25.            Waminhum man yastamiAAu ilayka wajaAAalna AAala quloobihim akinnatan an yafqahoohu wafee athanihim waqran wain yaraw kulla ayatin la yuminoo biha hatta itha jaooka yujadiloonaka yaqoolu allatheena kafaroo in hatha illa asateeru alawwaleena
There are some such people from among them who carefully listen your conversation but their condition is such that WE have placed covering on their hearts, for this reason they do not understand anything of it and placed deafness in their ears (on hearing everything even then do not hear anything).  Even whatever signs they may see they will never bring Faith in it.  So much so that when they come to you and argue with you then among them those people who have made up their minds to deny, they (after hearing everything) say that this is nothing except the story of old times.

وَهُمْ يَنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ وَيَنْأَوْنَ عَنْهُ وَإِن يُهْلِكُونَ إِلاَّ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ

26.            Wahum yanhawna AAanhu wayanawna AAanhu wain yuhlikoona illa anfusahum wama yashAAuroona
They stop the people to accept this truth and they themselves turn away from it. (They think that in this way they are doing some harm to you, Muhammad sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) whereas in fact they are preparing for their own destruction but they themselves do not have any sense of it.  

وَلَوْ تَرَىَ إِذْ وُقِفُواْ عَلَى النَّارِ فَقَالُواْ يَا لَيْتَنَا نُرَدُّ وَلاَ نُكَذِّبَ بِآيَاتِ رَبِّنَا وَنَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

27.            Walaw tara ith wuqifoo AAala alnnari faqaloo ya laytana nuraddu wala nukaththiba biayati rabbina wanakoona mina almumineena
Would that you could see their condition at that time when they will be made to stand at the edge of Hell. At that time they will say: "Would that we could somehow be send back to the worldly life again and would not deny the Signs of our Râbb and join the believers."  

بَلْ بَدَا لَهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يُخْفُونَ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَوْ رُدُّواْ لَعَادُواْ لِمَا نُهُواْ عَنْهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ

28.             Bal bada lahum ma kanoo yukhfoona min qablu walaw ruddoo laAAadoo lima nuhoo AAanhu wainnahum lakathiboona
In fact they will say this thing; merely for the reason that the truth which they had concealed, at that time it would be uncovered and manifested before them, otherwise if they are send back to the worldly life they will certainly do all that which they have been forbidden to do, indeed they are the liars (so this is why they will lie in showing their desire).  

وَقَالُواْ إِنْ هِيَ إِلاَّ حَيَاتُنَا الدُّنْيَا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَبْعُوثِينَ

29.             Waqaloo in hiya illa hayatuna alddunya wama nahnu bimabAAootheena
Today these people say that except our worldly life there is no other life and we will never be raised again after death.  

وَلَوْ تَرَى إِذْ وُقِفُواْ عَلَى رَبِّهِمْ قَالَ أَلَيْسَ هَذَا بِالْحَقِّ قَالُواْ بَلَى وَرَبِّنَا قَالَ فَذُوقُواْ العَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ

30.             Walaw tara ith wuqifoo AAala rabbihim qala alaysa hatha bialhaqqi qaloo bala warabbina qala fathooqoo alAAathaba bima kuntum takfuroona
Would that you could see that scene when they will be made to stand before their Râbb.  At that time their Râbb will ask them: "Is it not a reality?" They will say: "Yes our Râbb, this is the truth." HE will say: "Well, then now taste the punishments for your denying of this truth." (R) 9

قَدْ خَسِرَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِلِقَاء اللّهِ حَتَّى إِذَا جَاءتْهُمُ السَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةً قَالُواْ يَا حَسْرَتَنَا عَلَى مَا فَرَّطْنَا فِيهَا وَهُمْ يَحْمِلُونَ أَوْزَارَهُمْ عَلَى ظُهُورِهِمْ أَلاَ سَاء مَا يَزِرُونَ

31.             Qad khasira allatheena kaththaboo biliqai Allahi hatta itha jaathumu alssaAAatu baghtatan qaloo ya hasratana AAala ma farratna feeha wahum yahmiloona awzarahum AAala thuhoorihim ala saa ma yaziroona
Losers (Failures) are those people who consider a lie the news of their meeting with Allâh. When all of a sudden that Hour will come then these people will say: "Alas!  What negligence has been done from us in this matter?" And their condition will be such that they will be carrying the burden of their sins on their backs. Look! What an evil burden is it that they are carrying!  

وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلاَّ لَعِبٌ وَلَهْوٌ وَلَلدَّارُ الآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ أَفَلاَ تَعْقِلُونَ

32.             Wama alhayatu alddunya illa laAAibun walahwun walalddaru alakhirati khayrun lillatheena yattaqoona afala taAAqiloona
The worldly life is play and fun. In fact the place of Hereafter is better for those people who desire to be saved from the harm. Then will you not use your common sense?

قَدْ نَعْلَمُ إِنَّهُ لَيَحْزُنُكَ الَّذِي يَقُولُونَ فَإِنَّهُمْ لاَ يُكَذِّبُونَكَ وَلَكِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ بِآيَاتِ اللّهِ يَجْحَدُونَ

33.             Qad naAAlamu innahu layahzunuka allathee yaqooloona fainnahum la yukaththiboonaka walakinna alththalimeena biayati Allahi yajhadoona
O Prophet (Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), WE know that what these people say -- it grieves you but these people do not deny you -- whereas in fact these cruel people are denying the Revelation (Al-Qur'ân) of Allâh.

وَلَقَدْ كُذِّبَتْ رُسُلٌ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَصَبَرُواْ عَلَى مَا كُذِّبُواْ وَأُوذُواْ حَتَّى أَتَاهُمْ نَصْرُنَا وَلاَ مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَاتِ اللّهِ وَلَقدْ جَاءكَ مِن نَّبَإِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ

34.             Walaqad kuththibat rusulun min qablika fasabaroo AAala ma kuththiboo waoothoo hatta atahum nasruna wala mubaddila likalimati Allahi walaqad jaaka min nabai almursaleena
Many Rasools before you have also been denied, but they remained patient on this denial and the hardships, which were given to them, until OUR Help reached them. None has the power to change the Words (Decisions) of Allâh and you have already received the news for that what happened to the Rasools before you.  

وَإِن كَانَ كَبُرَ عَلَيْكَ إِعْرَاضُهُمْ فَإِنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ أَن تَبْتَغِيَ نَفَقًا فِي الأَرْضِ أَوْ سُلَّمًا فِي السَّمَاء فَتَأْتِيَهُم بِآيَةٍ وَلَوْ شَاء اللّهُ لَجَمَعَهُمْ عَلَى الْهُدَى فَلاَ تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِينَ

35.             Wain kana kabura AAalayka iAAraduhum faini istataAAta an tabtaghiya nafaqan fee alardi aw sullaman fee alssamai fatatiyahum biayatin walaw shaa Allahu lajamaAAahum AAala alhuda fala takoonanna mina aljahileena
However if bitterness/aversion of these people is hard on you and if you have the power then find a tunnel in earth or put a ladder to the sky and try to bring them any sign.  If Allâh Wanted then (HE) could have gathered them all on the guidance, so do not be like the ignorant.

إِنَّمَا يَسْتَجِيبُ الَّذِينَ يَسْمَعُونَ وَالْمَوْتَى يَبْعَثُهُمُ اللّهُ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ يُرْجَعُونَ

36.             Innama yastajeebu allatheena yasmaAAoona waalmawta yabAAathuhumu Allahu thumma ilayhi yurjaAAoona
Only those people accept the invitation of Truth who are listeners. As for the dead, Allâh will raise them from (their) graves and then they will be brought back (to be presented in HIS Court).

وَقَالُواْ لَوْلاَ نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ آيَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ قُلْ إِنَّ اللّهَ قَادِرٌ عَلَى أَن يُنَزِّلٍ آيَةً وَلَـكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ

37.             Waqaloo lawla nuzzila AAalayhi ayatun min rabbihi qul inna Allaha qadirun AAala an yunazzila ayatan walakinna aktharahum la yaAAlamoona
These people ask that why any sign from his Râbb has not been sent down to this Prophet (Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)?  Tell, Allâh has all the Power to send down signs, but majority of them are involved in foolishness.

وَمَا مِن دَآبَّةٍ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلاَ طَائِرٍ يَطِيرُ بِجَنَاحَيْهِ إِلاَّ أُمَمٌ أَمْثَالُكُم مَّا فَرَّطْنَا فِي الكِتَابِ مِن شَيْءٍ ثُمَّ إِلَى رَبِّهِمْ يُحْشَرُونَ

38.             Wama min dabbatin fee alardi wala tairin yateeru bijanahayhi illa omamun amthalukum ma farratna fee alkitabi min shayin thumma ila rabbihim yuhsharoona
See any animal that walks on the earth and see any bird that flies with wings in the air, they all are creatures like you, WE have not left anything out in pre-determining the courses of their lives, then they all are gathered towards their Râbb.

وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا صُمٌّ وَبُكْمٌ فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ مَن يَشَإِ اللّهُ يُضْلِلْهُ وَمَن يَشَأْ يَجْعَلْهُ عَلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ

39.             Waallatheena kaththaboo biayatina summun wabukmun fee alththulumati man yashai Allahu yudlilhu waman yasha yajAAalhu AAala siratin mustaqeemin
But those people who decline OUR Signs (Ayât) they are deaf and dumb, (they) are in the darkness. Allâh let go astray whom HE wills and guides to the Straight Path whom HE pleases (with).

قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُكُم إِنْ أَتَاكُمْ عَذَابُ اللّهِ أَوْ أَتَتْكُمُ السَّاعَةُ أَغَيْرَ اللّهِ تَدْعُونَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ

40.             Qul araaytakum in atakum AAathabu Allahi aw atatkumu alssaAAatu aghayra Allahi tadAAoona in kuntum sadiqeena
Ask them, tell me after pondering on it, if ever any big disaster comes to you from Allâh or the last minute (death) approaches you then at that time do you call upon anyone else except Allâh?  Reply if you are truthful.

بَلْ إِيَّاهُ تَدْعُونَ فَيَكْشِفُ مَا تَدْعُونَ إِلَيْهِ إِنْ شَاء وَتَنسَوْنَ مَا تُشْرِكُونَ

41.             Bal iyyahu tadAAoona fayakshifu ma tadAAoona ilayhi in shaa watansawna ma tushrikoona
At that time you only call Allâh and if HE Wants then postpones that trouble from you.  On such occasions you forget those whom you have set up as HIS partners. (R) 10

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلنَآ إِلَى أُمَمٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ بِالْبَأْسَاء وَالضَّرَّاء لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَضَرَّعُونَ

42.             Walaqad arsalna ila omamin min qablika faakhathnahum bialbasai waalddarrai laAAallahum yatadarraAAoona
Before you, WE sent Rasools to many nations and afflicted them with calamity and distress so that they should bow down before US with humbleness.

فَلَوْلا إِذْ جَاءهُمْ بَأْسُنَا تَضَرَّعُواْ وَلَـكِن قَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ

43.             Falawla ith jaahum basuna tadarraAAoo walakin qasat quloobuhum wazayyana lahumu alshshaytanu ma kanoo yaAAmaloona
So when hardship came to them from US why did not they adopt modesty?  But their hearts became more hardened and Satan gave them consolation that whatever you are doing is great.

فَلَمَّا نَسُواْ مَا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهِ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَبْوَابَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَتَّى إِذَا فَرِحُواْ بِمَا أُوتُواْ أَخَذْنَاهُم بَغْتَةً فَإِذَا هُم مُّبْلِسُونَ

44.             Falamma nasoo ma thukkiroo bihi fatahna AAalayhim abwaba kulli shayin hatta itha farihoo bima ootoo akhathnahum baghtatan faitha hum mublisoona
And when they forgot the advice that was given to them then for them WE opened the gates of all kinds of prosperity, so much so that when they were deeply absorbed in enjoying what was given to them then suddenly WE seized them and now the situation was such that they were hopeless from every good thing (welfare).  

فَقُطِعَ دَابِرُ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

45.             FaqutiAAa dabiru alqawmi allatheena thalamoo waalhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena
In this way those people were uprooted who had done the cruelty and praise is for Allâh the Râbb of all the world (that HE cut off their roots).

قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَخَذَ اللّهُ سَمْعَكُمْ وَأَبْصَارَكُمْ وَخَتَمَ عَلَى قُلُوبِكُم مَّنْ إِلَـهٌ غَيْرُ اللّهِ يَأْتِيكُم بِهِ انظُرْ كَيْفَ نُصَرِّفُ الآيَاتِ ثُمَّ هُمْ يَصْدِفُونَ

46.             Qul araaytum in akhatha Allahu samAAakum waabsarakum wakhatama AAala quloobikum man ilahun ghayru Allahi yateekum bihi onthur kayfa nusarrifu alayati thumma hum yasdifoona
O Prophet (Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), ask them, have you ever thought that -- if Allâh takes away your hearing and your sight from you and seals off your hearts then is there any ilâh (god) except Allâh who could get all these things back to you?  See, how WE present OUR Signs before them over and over again and then how they turn away from them.

قُلْ أَرَأَيْتَكُمْ إِنْ أَتَاكُمْ عَذَابُ اللّهِ بَغْتَةً أَوْ جَهْرَةً هَلْ يُهْلَكُ إِلاَّ الْقَوْمُ الظَّالِمُونَ

47.             Qul araaytakum in atakum AAathabu Allahi baghtatan aw jahratan hal yuhlaku illa alqawmu alththalimoona
Say: “Have you ever considered that if the punishment of Allâh comes to you suddenly or openly then except the wrongdoers will any other be destroyed?

وَمَا نُرْسِلُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلاَّ مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ فَمَنْ آمَنَ وَأَصْلَحَ فَلاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

48.             Wama nursilu almursaleena illa mubashshireena wamunthireena faman amana waaslaha fala khawfun AAalayhim wala hum yahzanoona
The Rasools WE sent; sent for the purpose that they should be giver of glad tidings for the pious people and warners for the wrongdoers.  Then those people who accept their message and correct their deeds for them there is no fear and grieve.

وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا يَمَسُّهُمُ الْعَذَابُ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفْسُقُونَ

49.             Waallatheena kaththaboo biayatina yamassuhumu alAAathabu bima kanoo yafsuqoona
And those who deny OUR Revelation (Ayât) they shall have to suffer the torment for their disobedience.

قُل لاَّ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ عِندِي خَزَآئِنُ اللّهِ وَلا أَعْلَمُ الْغَيْبَ وَلا أَقُولُ لَكُمْ إِنِّي مَلَكٌ إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلاَّ مَا يُوحَى إِلَيَّ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي الأَعْمَى وَالْبَصِيرُ أَفَلاَ تَتَفَكَّرُونَ

 50.             Qul la aqoolu lakum AAindee khazainu Allahi wala aAAlamu alghayba wala aqoolu lakum innee malakun in attabiAAu illa ma yooha ilayya qul hal yastawee alaAAma waalbaseeru afala tatafakkaroona
O Prophet (Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), tell them: "I do not say this to you that I have the treasures of Allâh neither I have the knowledge of unseen nor I say that I am an angel. I only follow that revelation which is being revealed to me."  Then ask them: "Can blind and sighted be equal?  Don’t you ponder?" (R) 11

وَأَنذِرْ بِهِ الَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ أَن يُحْشَرُواْ إِلَى رَبِّهِمْ لَيْسَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِهِ وَلِيٌّ وَلاَ شَفِيعٌ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ

51.             Waanthir bihi allatheena yakhafoona an yuhsharoo ila rabbihim laysa lahum min doonihi waliyyun wala shafeeAAun laAAallahum yattaqoona
And O Prophet, you (Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) should advice those people with this (Al-Qur'ân) who fear that someday they will be brought before their Râbb in such a condition that except HIM there will be none (with such power) who could be their supporter and protector, or does their advocacy, perhaps (by taking this advice) they may adopt the way of piety.

وَلاَ تَطْرُدِ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَهُ مَا عَلَيْكَ مِنْ حِسَابِهِم مِّن شَيْءٍ وَمَا مِنْ حِسَابِكَ عَلَيْهِم مِّن شَيْءٍ فَتَطْرُدَهُمْ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ

52.             Wala tatrudi allatheena yadAAoona rabbahum bialghadati waalAAashiyyi yureedoona wajhahu ma AAalayka min hisabihim min shayin wama min hisabika AAalayhim min shayin fatatrudahum fatakoona mina alththalimeena
And those people who keep remembering their Râbb night and day and are busy in seeking HIS Pleasure do not drive them away from you.  You are not accountable for their deeds at all and they are not accountable for your deeds.  Even then if you drive them away then you will be counted among the unjust (Zâlimûn).

وَكَذَلِكَ فَتَنَّا بَعْضَهُم بِبَعْضٍ لِّيَقُولواْ أَهَـؤُلاء مَنَّ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّن بَيْنِنَا أَلَيْسَ اللّهُ بِأَعْلَمَ بِالشَّاكِرِينَ

53.             Wakathalika fatanna baAAdahum bibaAAdin liyaqooloo ahaolai manna Allahu AAalayhim min baynina alaysa Allahu biaAAlama bialshshakireena
In fact in this way WE have put into test some of them by the others from among them so that seeing them they should say: "Are these the people whom Allâh has favored among us?"--Yes! Does not Allâh know HIS grateful servants better than them?  

وَإِذَا جَاءكَ الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِآيَاتِنَا فَقُلْ سَلاَمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ كَتَبَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ الرَّحْمَةَ أَنَّهُ مَن عَمِلَ مِنكُمْ سُوءًا بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ تَابَ مِن بَعْدِهِ وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَنَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

54.             Waitha jaaka allatheena yuminoona biayatina faqul salamun AAalaykum kataba rabbukum AAala nafsihi alrrahmata annahu man AAamila minkum sooan bijahalatin thumma taba min baAAdihi waaslaha faannahu ghafoorun raheemun
When these people who bring Faith in OUR Revelation (Ayât) come to you tell them: "Peace is on you (Salâmun 'Alaikum).  Your Râbb has made compulsory on HIMSELF the way of Mercy and Compassion.  (This is HIS Mercy and Compassion that) If anyone among you mistakenly has committed an evil then afterwards repents on it and mends his/her ways then HE forgives him/her and treats with leniency."

وَكَذَلِكَ نفَصِّلُ الآيَاتِ وَلِتَسْتَبِينَ سَبِيلُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ

55.             Wakathalika nufassilu alayati walitastabeena sabeelu almujrimeena
And in this way WE present OUR Signs (Ayât) clearly and plainly so that the way of the guilty should (Mujrimûn) become evident. (R) 12

قُلْ إِنِّي نُهِيتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ الَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ قُل لاَّ أَتَّبِعُ أَهْوَاءكُمْ قَدْ ضَلَلْتُ إِذًا وَمَا أَنَاْ مِنَ الْمُهْتَدِينَ

56.             Qul innee nuheetu an aAAbuda allatheena tadAAoona min dooni Allahi qul la attabiAAu ahwaakum qad dalaltu ithan wama ana mina almuhtadeena
O Prophet (Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), tell them: "I have been forbidden to worship those whom you beg except Allâh."  Say: "I will not follow your desires, if I did so then I will be gone astray, and will not be among those who are rightly guided."

قُلْ إِنِّي عَلَى بَيِّنَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّي وَكَذَّبْتُم بِهِ مَا عِندِي مَا تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِهِ إِنِ الْحُكْمُ إِلاَّ لِلّهِ يَقُصُّ الْحَقَّ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْفَاصِلِينَ

57.             Qul innee AAala bayyinatin min rabbee wakaththabtum bihi ma AAindee ma tastaAAjiloona bihi ini alhukmu illa lillahi yaqussu alhaqqa wahuwa khayru alfasileena
Say: "I am firm on a clear evidence from my Râbb and you have denied it, now that is not in my control which you are impatiently demanding, the right of decision is only with Allâh HE states the truth and HE is the Best Decision maker."

قُل لَّوْ أَنَّ عِندِي مَا تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِهِ لَقُضِيَ الأَمْرُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ وَاللّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِالظَّالِمِينَ

58.             Qul law anna AAindee ma tastaAAjiloona bihi laqudiya alamru baynee wabaynakum waAllahu aAAlamu bialththalimeena
Say: "If that thing would be in my control which you are demanding impatiently then the matter between me and you would have been settled long ago. But Allâh knows best how to handle the wrong doers (Zâlimûn).

وَعِندَهُ مَفَاتِحُ الْغَيْبِ لاَ يَعْلَمُهَا إِلاَّ هُوَ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ وَمَا تَسْقُطُ مِن وَرَقَةٍ إِلاَّ يَعْلَمُهَا وَلاَ حَبَّةٍ فِي ظُلُمَاتِ الأَرْضِ وَلاَ رَطْبٍ وَلاَ يَابِسٍ إِلاَّ فِي كِتَابٍ مُّبِينٍ

59.             WaAAindahu mafatihu alghaybi la yaAAlamuha illa huwa wayaAAlamu ma fee albarri waalbahri wama tasqutu min waraqatin illa yaAAlamuha wala habbatin fee thulumati alardi wala ratbin wala yabisin illa fee kitabin mubeenin
HE has the keys of unseen (Ghaib) no one knows about them except HIM.  Whatever is in the land and in the sea HE knows everything.  There is not a single leaf that falls from the tree about which HE does not know.  There is not a single grain in the darkness of the earth about which HE is not aware.  All fresh and dry is written in an Open Book. 

وَهُوَ الَّذِي يَتَوَفَّاكُم بِاللَّيْلِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا جَرَحْتُم بِالنَّهَارِ ثُمَّ يَبْعَثُكُمْ فِيهِ لِيُقْضَى أَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

60.             Wahuwa allathee yatawaffakum biallayli wayaAAlamu ma jarahtum bialnnahari thumma yabAAathukum feehi liyuqda ajalun musamman thumma ilayhi marjiAAukum thumma yunabbiokum bima kuntum taAAmaloona
HE is the ONE WHO takes your souls at night (when you are asleep) and whatever you do during the day HE Knows it, then the next day HE sends you back in the daily business so that you complete the fixed term of (your) life. Eventually you have to return to HIM, then HE will tell you what you have been doing. (R) 13.

وَهُوَ الْقَاهِرُ فَوْقَ عِبَادِهِ وَيُرْسِلُ عَلَيْكُم حَفَظَةً حَتَّىَ إِذَا جَاء أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ تَوَفَّتْهُ رُسُلُنَا وَهُمْ لاَ يُفَرِّطُونَ

61.             Wahuwa alqahiru fawqa AAibadihi wayursilu AAalaykum hafathatan hatta itha jaa ahadakumu almawtu tawaffathu rusuluna wahum la yufarritoona
HE has all the Power over HIS servants and HE sends (you) after appointing watchers over you, until when the time of death approaches anyone of you then the angels HE has sent take away his/her soul and (they) do not show any negligence in performing their duties,

ثُمَّ رُدُّواْ إِلَى اللّهِ مَوْلاَهُمُ الْحَقِّ أَلاَ لَهُ الْحُكْمُ وَهُوَ أَسْرَعُ الْحَاسِبِينَ

62.             Thumma ruddoo ila Allahi mawlahumu alhaqqi ala lahu alhukmu wahuwa asraAAu alhasibeena
Then all of them are brought back to Allâh their Real Master (Maulâ). Be aware, all the authorities of decision are with HIM and HE is very quick in settling the accounts."

قُلْ مَن يُنَجِّيكُم مِّن ظُلُمَاتِ الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ تَدْعُونَهُ تَضَرُّعاً وَخُفْيَةً لَّئِنْ أَنجَانَا مِنْ هَـذِهِ لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ

63.             Qul man yunajjeekum min thulumati albarri waalbahri tadAAoonahu tadarruAAan wakhufyatan lain anjana min hathihi lanakoonanna mina alshshakireena
O Prophet (Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), ask them, who saves you from the dangers of darkness of the land and the sea?  Who is (HE) from whom you beg (at the time of calamity) in modesty and secretly?  To WHOM you say that if HE saves us from this danger then we will be thankful to HIM?

قُلِ اللّهُ يُنَجِّيكُم مِّنْهَا وَمِن كُلِّ كَرْبٍ ثُمَّ أَنتُمْ تُشْرِكُونَ

64.             Quli Allahu yunajjeekum minha wamin kulli karbin thumma antum tushrikoona
--Say, Allâh saves you from this and all others adversities then you associate others as HIS partners.  

قُلْ هُوَ الْقَادِرُ عَلَى أَن يَبْعَثَ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابًا مِّن فَوْقِكُمْ أَوْ مِن تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِكُمْ أَوْ يَلْبِسَكُمْ شِيَعاً وَيُذِيقَ بَعْضَكُم بَأْسَ بَعْضٍ انظُرْ كَيْفَ نُصَرِّفُ الآيَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَفْقَهُونَ

65.             Qul huwa alqadiru AAala an yabAAatha AAalaykum AAathaban min fawqikum aw min tahti arjulikum aw yalbisakum shiyaAAan wayutheeqa baAAdakum basa baAAdin onthur kayfa nusarrifu alayati laAAallahum yafqahoona
Say: "HE has the power to send any misery on you from above, or from underneath your feet or make you to taste the violence of one another by dividing you into groups."  See how WE are presenting OUR Revelation before them over and again in various ways perhaps they may understand the truth.

وَكَذَّبَ بِهِ قَوْمُكَ وَهُوَ الْحَقُّ قُل لَّسْتُ عَلَيْكُم بِوَكِيلٍ

66.             Wakaththaba bihi qawmuka wahuwa alhaqqu qul lastu AAalaykum biwakeelin
Your nation is denying it -- whereas it is the Truth. Tell them that I am not appointed as your custodian,   

لِّكُلِّ نَبَإٍ مُّسْتَقَرٌّ وَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ

67.             Likulli nabain mustaqarrun wasawfa taAAlamoona
There is an appointed time for each news to appear; soon you yourself will come to know the consequence.  

وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ الَّذِينَ يَخُوضُونَ فِي آيَاتِنَا فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّى يَخُوضُواْ فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيْرِهِ وَإِمَّا يُنسِيَنَّكَ الشَّيْطَانُ فَلاَ تَقْعُدْ بَعْدَ الذِّكْرَى مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ

68.             Waitha raayta allatheena yakhoodoona fee ayatina faaAArid AAanhum hatta yakhoodoo fee hadeethin ghayrihi waimma yunsiyannaka alshshaytanu fala taqAAud baAAda alththikra maAAa alqawmi alththalimeena
And O Prophet (Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), when you see that people are finding faults in OUR Revelation then turn away from them until they quit that topic and engage in another conversation.  And if ever Satan makes you to forget then when you realize about this mistake then after that do not sit in the company of such cruels (Zâlimûn).

وَمَا عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ مِنْ حِسَابِهِم مِّن شَيْءٍ وَلَـكِن ذِكْرَى لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ

69.             Wama AAala allatheena yattaqoona min hisabihim min shayin walakin thikra laAAallahum yattaqoona
There is no accountability from the pious people on their accounts, although it is their duty to advise them perhaps they may abstain from the evil deeds.  

وَذَرِ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُواْ دِينَهُمْ لَعِبًا وَلَهْوًا وَغَرَّتْهُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَذَكِّرْ بِهِ أَن تُبْسَلَ نَفْسٌ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ لَيْسَ لَهَا مِن دُونِ اللّهِ وَلِيٌّ وَلاَ شَفِيعٌ وَإِن تَعْدِلْ كُلَّ عَدْلٍ لاَّ يُؤْخَذْ مِنْهَا أُوْلَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ أُبْسِلُواْ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ لَهُمْ شَرَابٌ مِّنْ حَمِيمٍ وَعَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْفُرُونَ

70.             Wathari allatheena ittakhathoo deenahum laAAiban walahwan wagharrathumu alhayatu alddunya wathakkir bihi an tubsala nafsun bima kasabat laysa laha min dooni Allahi waliyyun wala shafeeAAun wain taAAdil kulla AAadlin la yukhath minha olaika allatheena obsiloo bima kasaboo lahum sharabun min hameemin waAAathabun aleemun bima kanoo yakfuroona
Leave those people who have made their Deen (the way of life) as a thing of play and amusement and (those) whom this worldly life keeps in fascination.  Yes but keep advising and warning (them) by reciting the Qur'ân that somewhere any person should not be seized in the burden of his/her misdeeds, and caught in that situation where there is no helper and protector and any intercessor to save him/her from Allâh and if he/she wants to offer every possible thing in ransom even then it will not be accepted from him/her, because such people will be caught in the result of their own deeds, as the recompense of their rejecting the truth they will get boiling water to drink and painful torment to suffer. (R) 14

قُلْ أَنَدْعُو مِن دُونِ اللّهِ مَا لاَ يَنفَعُنَا وَلاَ يَضُرُّنَا وَنُرَدُّ عَلَى أَعْقَابِنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَانَا اللّهُ كَالَّذِي اسْتَهْوَتْهُ الشَّيَاطِينُ فِي الأَرْضِ حَيْرَانَ لَهُ أَصْحَابٌ يَدْعُونَهُ إِلَى الْهُدَى ائْتِنَا قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى اللّهِ هُوَ الْهُدَىَ وَأُمِرْنَا لِنُسْلِمَ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

71.             Qul anadAAoo min dooni Allahi ma la yanfaAAuna wala yadurruna wanuraddu AAala aAAqabina baAAda ith hadana Allahu kaallathee istahwathu alshshayateenu fee alardi hayrana lahu ashabun yadAAoonahu ila alhuda itina qul inna huda Allahi huwa alhuda waomirna linuslima lirabbi alAAalameena
O Prophet (Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) ask them: "Should we invoke those who can neither benefit nor harm us except Allâh?"  And when Allâh has shown us the straight path should we turn on our heels?  Should we become like the person whom Shayâtin have misled in the desert, and he/she is wandering in the state of surprise and confusion while his/her companions are calling him/her that come this way this is the right way?  Say, in fact the right guidance is the Guidance of Allâh Alone and we have received this order from HIM that surrenders before the Owner of the universes ('Alamîn),

وَأَنْ أَقِيمُواْ الصَّلاةَ وَاتَّقُوهُ وَهُوَ الَّذِيَ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ

72.             Waan aqeemoo alssalata waittaqoohu wahuwa allathee ilayhi tuhsharoona
Establish prayer (As-Salât) and abstain from HIS disobedience, you will be brought to HIM.

وَهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ وَيَوْمَ يَقُولُ كُن فَيَكُونُ قَوْلُهُ الْحَقُّ وَلَهُ الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِي الصُّوَرِ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ

73.             Wahuwa allathee khalaqa alssamawati waalarda bialhaqqi wayawma yaqoolu kun fayakoonu qawluhu alhaqqu walahu almulku yawma yunfakhu fee alssoori AAalimu alghaybi waalshshahadati wahuwa alhakeemu alkhabeeru
HE is the one WHO has created the skies and the earth in truth.  And the Day HE will say that the Resurrection should take place -- on the same Day it will take place.  HIS Command is exact truth.  And the Day the Trumpet will be blown that Day the Kingdom will be HIS, HE has the full Knowledge of visible and invisible and All-Wise and Well Aware.  

وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ لأَبِيهِ آزَرَ أَتَتَّخِذُ أَصْنَامًا آلِهَةً إِنِّي أَرَاكَ وَقَوْمَكَ فِي ضَلاَلٍ مُّبِينٍ

74.             Waith qala ibraheemu liabeehi azara atattakhithu asnaman alihatan innee araka waqawmaka fee dalalin mubeenin
Remember the incident of Ibrâhim when he said to his father Azar/Azara:  "Do you take idols as deities (âlihâ)?  I find you and your people completely in an error."  

وَكَذَلِكَ نُرِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ مَلَكُوتَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَلِيَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُوقِنِينَ

75.             Wakathalika nuree ibraheema malakoota alssamawati waalardi waliyakoona mina almooqineena
In the same way WE used to show to Ibrâhim the arrangements of kingdom of the skies and the earth so that he may become one of the Firm believers.

فَلَمَّا جَنَّ عَلَيْهِ اللَّيْلُ رَأَى كَوْكَبًا قَالَ هَـذَا رَبِّي فَلَمَّا أَفَلَ قَالَ لا أُحِبُّ الآفِلِينَ

76.             Falamma janna AAalayhi allaylu raa kawkaban qala hatha rabbee falamma afala qala la ohibbu alafileena
Accordingly when night covered him he saw a star, (he) said this is my Râbb.  But when it went down -- he said that I am not fan of those which drowned.

فَلَمَّا رَأَى الْقَمَرَ بَازِغًا قَالَ هَـذَا رَبِّي فَلَمَّا أَفَلَ قَالَ لَئِن لَّمْ يَهْدِنِي رَبِّي لأكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الضَّالِّينَ

77.             Falamma raa alqamara bazighan qala hatha rabbee falamma afala qala lain lam yahdinee rabbee laakoonanna mina alqawmi alddalleena
And when he saw the shining moon then (he) said this is my Râbb.  But when it also set down -- (he) said if my Râbb has not guided me I would have been among those people who are misled.

فَلَمَّا رَأَى الشَّمْسَ بَازِغَةً قَالَ هَـذَا رَبِّي هَـذَآ أَكْبَرُ فَلَمَّا أَفَلَتْ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِّمَّا تُشْرِكُونَ

78.             Falamma raa alshshamsa bazighatan qala hatha rabbee hatha akbaru falamma afalat qala ya qawmi innee bareeon mimma tushrikoona
And when he saw the sun brightening then (he) said this is my Râbb, this is the biggest of all.  But when it also set-down then Ibrâhim spoke out: "O people of my nation, I am annoyed from all those whom you associate with Allâh.

إِنِّي وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا أَنَاْ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ

79.             Innee wajjahtu wajhiya lillathee fatara alssamawati waalarda haneefan wama ana mina almushrikeena
I have turned my face exclusively towards HIM WHO has created the skies and the earth and I am not at all from among those who associate partners with Allâh (Al-Mushrikûn)."

وَحَآجَّهُ قَوْمُهُ قَالَ أَتُحَاجُّونِّي فِي اللّهِ وَقَدْ هَدَانِ وَلاَ أَخَافُ مَا تُشْرِكُونَ بِهِ إِلاَّ أَن يَشَاء رَبِّي شَيْئًا وَسِعَ رَبِّي كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا أَفَلاَ تَتَذَكَّرُونَ

80.             Wahajjahu qawmuhu qala atuhajjoonnee fee Allahi waqad hadani wala akhafu ma tushrikoona bihi illa an yashaa rabbee shayan wasiAAa rabbee kulla shayin AAilman afala tatathakkaroona
His people started disputing with him then he said to his nation: "Do you dispute with me about Allâh?  Whereas HE has guided me to the right path and I am not afraid of those whom you associate with Allâh -- yes if my Râbb wants something -- then it could surely happen, the Knowledge of my Râbb is prevailing over everything, then will you not come into sense?

وَكَيْفَ أَخَافُ مَا أَشْرَكْتُمْ وَلاَ تَخَافُونَ أَنَّكُمْ أَشْرَكْتُم بِاللّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِ عَلَيْكُمْ سُلْطَانًا فَأَيُّ الْفَرِيقَيْنِ أَحَقُّ بِالأَمْنِ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

81.             Wakayfa akhafu ma ashraktum wala takhafoona annakum ashraktum biAllahi ma lam yunazzil bihi AAalaykum sultanan faayyu alfareeqayni ahaqqu bialamni in kuntum taAAlamoona
And how should I fear from those whom you have associated with Allâh while you do not fear to associate these things with Allâh in (HIS) Kingdom for which HE has not sent any testimonial to you?  Among us who deserve more self-containment and fearlessness?  Tell if you have any knowledge.

الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَلَمْ يَلْبِسُواْ إِيمَانَهُم بِظُلْمٍ أُوْلَـئِكَ لَهُمُ الأَمْنُ وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ

82.             Allatheena amanoo walam yalbisoo eemanahum bithulmin olaika lahumu alamnu wahum muhtadoona
In fact the peace is only for those and they are rightly guided who brought Faith and who did not impure their Faith with cruelty (Zulm). (R) 15

وَتِلْكَ حُجَّتُنَا آتَيْنَاهَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَى قَوْمِهِ نَرْفَعُ دَرَجَاتٍ مَّن نَّشَاء إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ

83.             Watilka hujjatuna ataynaha ibraheema AAala qawmihi narfaAAu darajatin man nashao inna rabbaka hakeemun AAaleemun
This was OUR Argument that WE gave to Ibrâhim against his people.  Whomever WE want exalt in ranks.  The Truth is that your Râbb is All Wise and All Knowing.

وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ إِسْحَقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ كُلاًّ هَدَيْنَا وَنُوحًا هَدَيْنَا مِن قَبْلُ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِ دَاوُودَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ وَأَيُّوبَ وَيُوسُفَ وَمُوسَى وَهَارُونَ وَكَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ

84.             Wawahabna lahu ishaqa wayaAAqooba kullan hadayna wanoohan hadayna min qablu wamin thurriyyatihi dawooda wasulaymana waayyooba wayoosufa wamoosa waharoona wakathalika najzee almuhsineena
Then WE gave Ibrâhim children such as Ishâque and Ya'qûb and guided each of them to the right path (the same right path which) WE showed to Nûh before it.  And from his progeny WE (guided) Dawûd, Sulaimân, Ayub, Yûsuf, Mûsa, and Hârûn.  The same way WE reward the pious people for their piety.

وَزَكَرِيَّا وَيَحْيَى وَعِيسَى وَإِلْيَاسَ كُلٌّ مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ

85.             Wazakariyya wayahya waAAeesa wailyasa kullun mina alssaliheena
(From his progeny WE showed Right Path) To Zakariyâ, Yahya, 'Iesa and Iliyâs, each one of them was of the righteous.

وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَالْيَسَعَ وَيُونُسَ وَلُوطًا وَكُلاًّ فضَّلْنَا عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ

86.             WaismaAAeela wailyasaAAa wayoonusa walootan wakullan faddalna AAala alAAalameena
(From his family WE Guided) Ismâ'il, Al-Yas'â, and Yûnus and Lout.  WE gave superiority to each one of them over the people of the world ('Alamîn).

وَمِنْ آبَائِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ وَإِخْوَانِهِمْ وَاجْتَبَيْنَاهُمْ وَهَدَيْنَاهُمْ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ

87.             Wamin abaihim wathurriyyatihim waikhwanihim waijtabaynahum wahadaynahum ila siratin mustaqeemin
In addition WE Blessed many of them from among their forefathers and their children and their brothers, chosen them for OUR Service and guided them towards the Right Path.

ذَلِكَ هُدَى اللّهِ يَهْدِي بِهِ مَن يَشَاء مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَلَوْ أَشْرَكُواْ لَحَبِطَ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ

88.             Thalika huda Allahi yahdee bihi man yashao min AAibadihi walaw ashrakoo lahabita AAanhum ma kanoo yaAAmaloona
This is the Guidance of Allâh with which HE guides anyone of HIS Servants HE Pleases.  But if these people ever have committed shirk (associated partners with Allâh, subhaana wa ta’aala) then all of their deeds would have been destroyed.

أُوْلَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ فَإِن يَكْفُرْ بِهَا هَـؤُلاء فَقَدْ وَكَّلْنَا بِهَا قَوْمًا لَّيْسُواْ بِهَا بِكَافِرِينَ

89.             Olaika allatheena ataynahumu alkitaba waalhukma waalnnubuwwata fain yakfur biha haolai faqad wakkalna biha qawman laysoo biha bikafireena
They were the people whom WE gave the Book, Command (Al-­Hukm) and Prophethood.  Now if these people deny accepting it then (WE don’t care) WE have given this Blessing to some other people who are not deniers of it.

أُوْلَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ هَدَى اللّهُ فَبِهُدَاهُمُ اقْتَدِهْ قُل لاَّ أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا إِنْ هُوَ إِلاَّ ذِكْرَى لِلْعَالَمِينَ

90.             Olaika allatheena hada Allahu fabihudahumu iqtadih qul la asalukum AAalayhi ajran in huwa illa thikra lilAAalameena
O Prophet (Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), those people were on the Right Path from their Allâh you should follow their Path, and say that I do not expect any compensation from you for this duty (of advise and teaching), this is a common advice for all the people of the world ('Alamîn). (R) 16

وَمَا قَدَرُواْ اللّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ إِذْ قَالُواْ مَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ عَلَى بَشَرٍ مِّن شَيْءٍ قُلْ مَنْ أَنزَلَ الْكِتَابَ الَّذِي جَاء بِهِ مُوسَى نُورًا وَهُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ تَجْعَلُونَهُ قَرَاطِيسَ تُبْدُونَهَا وَتُخْفُونَ كَثِيرًا وَعُلِّمْتُم مَّا لَمْ تَعْلَمُواْ أَنتُمْ وَلاَ آبَاؤُكُمْ قُلِ اللّهُ ثُمَّ ذَرْهُمْ فِي خَوْضِهِمْ يَلْعَبُونَ

91.             Wama qadaroo Allaha haqqa qadrihi ith qaloo ma anzala Allahu AAala basharin min shayin qul man anzala alkitaba allathee jaa bihi moosa nooran wahudan lilnnasi tajAAaloonahu qarateesa tubdoonaha watukhfoona katheeran waAAullimtum ma lam taAAlamoo antum wala abaokum quli Allahu thumma tharhum fee khawdihim yalAAaboona
These people wrongfully estimated about Allâh when (they) said that Allâh has not revealed anything towards any human.  Ask them, then the Book which Mûsa had brought, which was light and guidance for all the mankind, which you keep as divided fragments, show some of it and hide most of it, and by which you were given that knowledge which neither you nor your fathers had, after all who had revealed it?--Just say this much that Allâh -- then leave them to play with their useless arguments.

وَهَـذَا كِتَابٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ مُبَارَكٌ مُّصَدِّقُ الَّذِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلِتُنذِرَ أُمَّ الْقُرَى وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالآخِرَةِ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَهُمْ عَلَى صَلاَتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ

92.             Wahatha kitabun anzalnahu mubarakun musaddiqu allathee bayna yadayhi walitunthira omma alqura waman hawlaha waallatheena yuminoona bialakhirati yuminoona bihi wahum AAala salatihim yuhafithoona
(Like that Book) This is a Book (Al-Qur'ân) that WE have revealed.  It is a Book of Success and Blessing.  It confirms that which had come before it.  And it has been revealed so that by it you should warn the Mother of Towns (Makkah) and those who live in its surroundings.  Those people who believe in the Hereafter they bring Faith in this Book (Al-Qur'ân) and they are such (people) who are punctual in their prayers (Salât).

وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ قَالَ أُوْحِيَ إِلَيَّ وَلَمْ يُوحَ إِلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ وَمَن قَالَ سَأُنزِلُ مِثْلَ مَا أَنَزلَ اللّهُ وَلَوْ تَرَى إِذِ الظَّالِمُونَ فِي غَمَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ وَالْمَلآئِكَةُ بَاسِطُواْ أَيْدِيهِمْ أَخْرِجُواْ أَنفُسَكُمُ الْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ عَذَابَ الْهُونِ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ وَكُنتُمْ عَنْ آيَاتِهِ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ

93.             Waman athlamu mimmani iftara AAala Allahi kathiban aw qala oohiya ilayya walam yooha ilayhi shayon waman qala saonzilu mithla ma anzala Allahu walaw tara ithi alththalimoona fee ghamarati almawti waalmalaikatu basitoo aydeehim akhrijoo anfusakumu alyawma tujzawna AAathaba alhooni bima kuntum taqooloona AAala Allahi ghayra alhaqqi wakuntum AAan ayatihi tastakbiroona
And who else could be crueler than the one who fabricates lie against Allâh or says that revelation has come to me whereas no revelation has been sent to him, or who says in comparison of the Revelation of Allâh that I will also reveal such thing (what Allâh, subhaana wa ta’aala, has revealed)?  Would that you could see these cruel people in that condition when they suffer the pain of death and angels are saying by stretching out their hands: "Give, bring your soul, today you will be given severe punishment as compensation for the things which you used to utter -- falsely accusing Allâh and used to show rebellion against HIS Revelation."

وَلَقَدْ جِئْتُمُونَا فُرَادَى كَمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَتَرَكْتُم مَّا خَوَّلْنَاكُمْ وَرَاء ظُهُورِكُمْ وَمَا نَرَى مَعَكُمْ شُفَعَاءكُمُ الَّذِينَ زَعَمْتُمْ أَنَّهُمْ فِيكُمْ شُرَكَاء لَقَد تَّقَطَّعَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنكُم مَّا كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ

94.             Walaqad jitumoona furada kama khalaqnakum awwala marratin wataraktum ma khawwalnakum waraa thuhoorikum wama nara maAAakum shufaAAaakumu allatheena zaAAamtum annahum feekum shurakao laqad taqattaAAa baynakum wadalla AAankum ma kuntum tazAAumoona
(And Allâh, subhaana wa ta’aala, will Say) "So now as WE had created you at the first time in the same way you have come all alone to US, whatever WE had given you in the world all that you have left behind, and now WE do not see your those supporters with you about whom you used to think that they also have some share in regulating your affairs, all your mutual connections have been broken and they all have been lost from you for whom you had pride." (R) 17

إِنَّ اللّهَ فَالِقُ الْحَبِّ وَالنَّوَى يُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَمُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتِ مِنَ الْحَيِّ ذَلِكُمُ اللّهُ فَأَنَّى تُؤْفَكُونَ

95.             Inna Allaha faliqu alhabbi waalnnawa yukhriju alhayya mina almayyiti wamukhriju almayyiti mina alhayyi thalikumu Allahu faanna tufakoona
Allâh is the One WHO splits the seed and the fruit-stone.  HE brings out the living from the dead and HE is the One WHO brings out the dead from alive.  Allâh is the One WHO does all these things, then where are you being tempted away?

فَالِقُ الإِصْبَاحِ وَجَعَلَ اللَّيْلَ سَكَنًا وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ حُسْبَانًا ذَلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَلِيمِ

96.             Faliqu alisbahi wajaAAala allayla sakanan waalshshamsa waalqamara husbanan thalika taqdeeru alAAazeezi alAAaleemi
HE is the One WHO brings out dawn by splitting the curtain of the night.  HE is the One WHO has made the night time to rest.  HE has appointed the times of rising and setting of the moon and the sun.  All of these are the appointed measurements of the same Almighty and All Knowing.

وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ النُّجُومَ لِتَهْتَدُواْ بِهَا فِي ظُلُمَاتِ الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا الآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ

97.             Wahuwa allathee jaAAala lakumu alnnujooma litahtadoo biha fee thulumati albarri waalbahri qad fassalna alayati liqawmin yaAAlamoona
And HE is the One WHO has made stars the means of finding the way for you in the desert and in darkness of the sea.  Look! WE have explained OUR Signs clearly for those people who have the knowledge.  

وَهُوَ الَّذِيَ أَنشَأَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ فَمُسْتَقَرٌّ وَمُسْتَوْدَعٌ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا الآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَفْقَهُونَ

98.             Wahuwa allathee anshaakum min nafsin wahidatin famustaqarrun wamustawdaAAun qad fassalna alayati liqawmin yafqahoona
And HE is the One WHO has created you from a single soul (Adam) then for everyone there is a place to reside/live and one place for his/her storage/repository.  WE have explained these Signs in detail for those people who have common sense.

وَهُوَ الَّذِيَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاء مَاء فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِ نَبَاتَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ فَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهُ خَضِرًا نُّخْرِجُ مِنْهُ حَبًّا مُّتَرَاكِبًا وَمِنَ النَّخْلِ مِن طَلْعِهَا قِنْوَانٌ دَانِيَةٌ وَجَنَّاتٍ مِّنْ أَعْنَابٍ وَالزَّيْتُونَ وَالرُّمَّانَ مُشْتَبِهًا وَغَيْرَ مُتَشَابِهٍ انظُرُواْ إِلِى ثَمَرِهِ إِذَا أَثْمَرَ وَيَنْعِهِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكُمْ لآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ

99.             Wahuwa allathee anzala mina alssamai maan faakhrajna bihi nabata kulli shayin faakhrajna minhu khadiran nukhriju minhu habban mutarakiban wamina alnnakhli min talAAiha qinwanun daniyatun wajannatin min aAAnabin waalzzaytoona waalrrummana mushtabihan waghayra mutashabihin onthuroo ila thamarihi itha athmara wayanAAihi inna fee thalikum laayatin liqawmin yuminoona
And HE is the One WHO sent down water (rain) from the sky, then by it grew all kinds of vegetation, then from it produced green fields and trees, then from it brought out thick clustered grain and from the buds of date palm produced the clusters of fruits (dates) which hangs low and near because of burden, and planted gardens of grapes, olives and pomegranates, the fruits of these are similar to each other and then each of them also have separate specialties.  When these trees bring fruits then look carefully the state of their bringing the fruits and then the state of ripening of their fruits; there are signs in these things for those people who bring Faith.  

وَجَعَلُواْ لِلّهِ شُرَكَاء الْجِنَّ وَخَلَقَهُمْ وَخَرَقُواْ لَهُ بَنِينَ وَبَنَاتٍ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

100.          WajaAAaloo lillahi shurakaa aljinna wakhalaqahum wakharaqoo lahu baneena wabanatin bighayri AAilmin subhanahu wataAAala AAamma yasifoona
Despite of that, entire people associated jinns as partners of Allâh whereas HE is their Creator, and without any knowledge they ascribed sons and daughters for HIM, whereas HE is Pure and Exalted above.  From those things which these people say. (R) 18

بَدِيعُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ أَنَّى يَكُونُ لَهُ وَلَدٌ وَلَمْ تَكُن لَّهُ صَاحِبَةٌ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ وهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

101.          BadeeAAu alssamawati waalardi anna yakoonu lahu waladun walam takun lahu sahibatun wakhalaqa kulla shayin wahuwa bikulli shayin AAaleemun
HE is the Originator of the skies and the earth.  How anyone could be HIS son when there is no one in HIS life.  HE has created all things and HE has the Knowledge of everything.

ذَلِكُمُ اللّهُ رَبُّكُمْ لا إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ خَالِقُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ فَاعْبُدُوهُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَكِيلٌ

102.          Thalikumu Allahu rabbukum la ilaha illa huwa khaliqu kulli shayin faoAAbudoohu wahuwa AAala kulli shayin wakeelun
This is Allâh your Râbb, there is no Deity except HIM (Lâ ilâha illa Huwa), Creator of everything, therefore you should worship HIM and HE is Custodian (Wakîl) of everything.

لاَّ تُدْرِكُهُ الأَبْصَارُ وَهُوَ يُدْرِكُ الأَبْصَارَ وَهُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ

103.          La tudrikuhu alabsaru wahuwa yudriku alabsara wahuwa allateefu alkhabeeru
Vision cannot perceive HIM and HE Observes all visions; HE is very Observant and Well Aware.  

قَدْ جَاءكُم بَصَآئِرُ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ فَمَنْ أَبْصَرَ فَلِنَفْسِهِ وَمَنْ عَمِيَ فَعَلَيْهَا وَمَا أَنَاْ عَلَيْكُم بِحَفِيظٍ

104.          Qad jaakum basairu min rabbikum faman absara falinafsihi waman AAamiya faAAalayha wama ana AAalaykum bihafeethin
Look light of wisdom has come to you from your Râbb, now whoever will make use of vision will benefit himself/herself and whoever will behave as blind will suffer harm himself/herself, I (Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) am not a guard over you.

وَكَذَلِكَ نُصَرِّفُ الآيَاتِ وَلِيَقُولُواْ دَرَسْتَ وَلِنُبَيِّنَهُ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ

105.          Wakathalika nusarrifu alayati waliyaqooloo darasta walinubayyinahu liqawmin yaAAlamoona
In this way WE state OUR Verses again and over in different ways and do so that these people may say: "You have learned from someone," and those people who have the knowledge WE should manifest truth on them.

اتَّبِعْ مَا أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ لا إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ

106.          IttabiAA ma oohiya ilayka min rabbika la ilaha illa huwa waaAArid AAani almushrikeena
O Prophet (Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), keep following the Revelation that has been Revealed to you from your Râbb because -- except One Râbb there is no other deity.  And do not go after these idolaters (Al-Mushrikûn).

وَلَوْ شَاء اللّهُ مَا أَشْرَكُواْ وَمَا جَعَلْنَاكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَفِيظًا وَمَا أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِوَكِيلٍ

107.          Walaw shaa Allahu ma ashrakoo wama jaAAalnaka AAalayhim hafeethan wama anta AAalayhim biwakeelin
If it was the will of Allâh then (HE HIMSELF could have made such an arrangement that) these people would not have committed shirk (associated partners with Allâh, subhaana wa ta’aala).  WE have not appointed you as a keeper over them and nor you are their watchman.

وَلاَ تَسُبُّواْ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ فَيَسُبُّواْ اللّهَ عَدْوًا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ كَذَلِكَ زَيَّنَّا لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ عَمَلَهُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَى رَبِّهِم مَّرْجِعُهُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ

108.          Wala tasubboo allatheena yadAAoona min dooni Allahi fayasubboo Allaha AAadwan bighayri AAilmin kathalika zayyanna likulli ommatin AAamalahum thumma ila rabbihim marjiAAuhum fayunabbiohum bima kanoo yaAAmaloona
And (O Muslims) do not abuse those whom they call upon excluding Allâh, it should not be that exceeding from shirk and on the basis of ignorance they start abusing Allâh.  WE have thus made the deeds of every group pleasing for them, then they have to return to their Râbb, at that time HE will tell them what they have been doing.

وَأَقْسَمُواْ بِاللّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ لَئِن جَاءتْهُمْ آيَةٌ لَّيُؤْمِنُنَّ بِهَا قُلْ إِنَّمَا الآيَاتُ عِندَ اللّهِ وَمَا يُشْعِرُكُمْ أَنَّهَا إِذَا جَاءتْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ

109.          Waaqsamoo biAllahi jahda aymanihim lain jaathum ayatun layuminunna biha qul innama alayatu AAinda Allahi wama yushAAirukum annaha itha jaat la yuminoona
These people swear their strongest oaths that if any sign (Miracle) comes before us then we will bring Faith on it.  O Prophet (Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), tell them: "The signs are in the Power of Allâh."  And how to make you understand that even if the signs come down they are not going to bring Faith.

وَنُقَلِّبُ أَفْئِدَتَهُمْ وَأَبْصَارَهُمْ كَمَا لَمْ يُؤْمِنُواْ بِهِ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَنَذَرُهُمْ فِي طُغْيَانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ

110.          Wanuqallibu afidatahum waabsarahum kama lam yuminoo bihi awwala marratin wanatharuhum fee tughyanihim yaAAmahoona
In the same way WE are turning away their hearts and eyes, as they did not bring faith first time on it.  WE leave them to wander in their own rebellion. (R) 19
